    About the Role:


    The Automation Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the quality standards, frameworks and execution for the Test Automation Strategy across our product lines. The Automation Engineer will work in/with project teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The role requires expertise in software automation, experienced in agile/scrum development process, effective team-based collaboration and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.

    Automation Responsibilities


    • Owns Automation, Test Execution and Maintenance
    • Work closely with engineering team on testing strategy, implementation & support
    • Investigate automation test failures; work with team to resolve issues & challenges
    • Continuous improvements to testing framework, process and test execution
    • Research and develop new testing solutions and strategies
    • Enforce standards and compliance across teams.


    General Responsibilities

    • Conduct tests to ensure each products complies with functional requirements 
    • Proactively take initiative and demonstrates a high level of accountability
    • Develop test plans, scenarios and cases used in testing based on business requirements, technical specifications and/or product knowledge to drive product quality and compliance.
    • Identify product defects, log issues into defect tracking system, and verify fixes through various environments. 



    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent educational/work experience.
    • 2 - 4 years direct experience with automation in a quality assurance environment.
    • Expert at end-to-end test automation.
    • Proficient with building automation test frameworks
    • Proficient with UFT and/or Selenium tools
    • Strong with Object-Oriented Paradigms and Design
    • Strong with N-Tier application architectures for Web Applications
    • Ability to document and concisely communicate problems to developers
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work in a highly demanding environment where teamwork is a must
