The Product Marketing Manager will support the development of strategic marketing plans for SRS products through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, and business planning. This role will partner closely with other areas of the organization in order to craft market facing messaging and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Market intelligence/Competitive Research - Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them
  • Communications – Communicate marketplace business intelligence to Executive, Product, and Marketing Management in support of strategy development and to the sales team to improve win rate; actively contribute to the effort to broadcast our message to the market, across the organization, and our partner community; craft business and product strategy presentations to be delivered via various channels (blogs, webinars, user summit, etc.)
  • Sales and marketing tools – Provide the Marketing team with the information needed to create collateral, whitepapers, presentations, videos, and blog posts, to communicate the value proposition of our products.
  • Strategic Research - Industry trends; strategic enterprise accounts; strategic 3+ accounts; partnership opportunities; branding opportunities; pricing strategy; market segementation
  • Product Strategy - Collaborate and with fellow product management team members on product strategy and translate it into consumable customer-facing content.
  • Sales Support - Objections Handling Toolkit; competitor fight cards; pre-conference competitor reviews; competitive new hire training.
  • Product launch – Responsible for the planning and execution of the market launch of new products and releases

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 4+years related product marketing and market research experience
  • Experience with competitive market analysis and benchmarking.
  • Advanced experience working in Microsoft Excel and Word – must be comfortable working with data, and driving strategies based on results.
  • Strong project management, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to work well with corporate and cross functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and ROI driven; including experience reviewing campaign performance results and making recommendations for future action.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in parallel while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience developing written marketing communications.
